Facts: |
The request is only for a shallower footing for the proposed self storage buildings than one that is required to go down to the "frost Level". The granting of this variance will in no way affect the Public, health, safety, and welfare due to it being a footing for light weight self storage buildings. The manufacturer and designed are recommending this shallower footing and we are submitting previous approval letters for this same request.

Facts: |
Entire concrete slab sits on a layer of free draining granular fill. The design and uniform loading should allow more uniform displacement if heave occurs, resulting in less stress on the foundation and structure. Please see attached letter from Trachte Building Systems.
