The Lafayette Catholic School System is wanting to reutilize and existing single story single family residence that is adjacent to the junior/senior high school into offices for their administration. Utilizing Indiana Administrative Code 675 IAC 12, Rule 13 they are over in square footage by approximately 350sf per IAC 675 12-13-2-1. They have met with the local building and fire officials onsite and neither official has issue with this conversion.

The remodel of the structure will exceed the required number of exits per IBC 1015.1. The building also will be equipped with code compliant exit signs and emergency egress lighting per IBC 1011.1 and 1006.1.
