Conditions: |

Seeking to remediate water infiltration occurring at the main entrance (revolving doors). In doing so, we would simultaneously replace the revolving doors with an ADA compliant vestibule. In order to properly remediate the water issue, and replace the entrance successfully, we would prefer to complete the 2 improvements concurrently (as it would also shorten the construction schedule). We are looking to temporarily shut down the main entrance throughout the duration of the installation. We are seeking a variance for approx. 3- 4 months.

Facts: |

The temporary closure of the East exit will allow for most efficient repair/replacement (cost & schedule) of the slab and vestibule. A temporary construction enclosure will be erected throughout construction to ensure the safety of the public.

Facts: |
|
If forced to proceed with a phased construction, this will have significant cost implications, schedule delays, and potentially compromising the integrity of the replacement system. It will also prolong the amount of time the required East exit will be shut down.
