Conditions: The project involves a 1-story building addition, approximately 4,020 sf to an existing
floor area of 3,598 sf for a total area of 7,618. the building is not sprinklered and existing  corridors are not rated. Corridors will serve an occupant load of more than 30 when waiting  rooms/ multi-purpose rooms are included  in the occupant load calculation.  The corridors  will not be one- hour rated.

Facts: NFPA 101 - Life Safety Code does not require fire rated corridors within a tenant space.

The building will be separated into two areas by a smoke resistant wall to the ceiling.  Doors  in the wall will be automatic closing with an  smoke detection at the door. Two separate exits,  (four for the building) are provided from each area space.

Travel distances are show on attached drawing and do not exceed 111 feet (200 feet  permitted)
