Facts: The items in question are concealed sprinkler covers. These covers are part of the listed  assemble but a primarily for decorative purposes and will not effect the operation of the  sprinkler itself to any determinable degree. 

This variance has been granted in the past.

Facts: This building is a historic Theater in the downtown area. The sprinklers in question are  located in the high ceiling of the main auditorium above the fixed seating. This repair would  require removal of several areas of fixed seating and construction of multiple sections of  scaffolding on sloped floors to reach the sprinkler heads in various locations. The contractor  stated that the theater would be closed for up to 4 weeks. The quote for this work is in excess  of $120,000.00.  

This correction will be made at a future period as part of a scheduled remodel or renovation,  but no plans have been submitted as of yet.
