Conditions: The Media Center entrance and a Project Room front wall will include nonrated storefront  glazing and doors.  Additionally, two (2) collaborative Project Rooms in the Science/Math  wing will have non-rated operable walls constructed facing the corridor.  New corridor walls  are required to be constructed with 1-hour fire partitions and fire-rated openings.
The project involves very limited interior renovation of the 1985 building.

Facts: 1.  The new storefront entrances will be smoke-tight, with self-closing doors.

2.  The operable walls in the Math/Science wing will be in a portion of the building separate  from the main corridor.  The rooms in question have very little combustible fire load or other  type of fire hazard.
