Facts: The doors that are disguised like bookcases keep the residents from trying to exit.  The  Memory Care Unit serves residents with Alzheimer's Disease.  Safety is the most important  item when dealing with these residents.

Facts: The residents on the Memory Care Unit, are unable to communicate where they live and may  have the opportunity to get out of the facility in inclement weather which may cause harm to  these seniors.  The bookcase doors help disguise the exits so safety is maintained at all  times.
