Conditions: The proposed addition will impact means of egress in the existing building during the time of  construction.  The project will begin in June, 2018, and is scheduled to be complete during  the summer of 2019.

The addition will have approximately 30,440 sq ft + a mezzanine of approximately 2,080 sq ft.
The addition will include classrooms, computer and maker labs, and rest rooms. The  addition
will be classified as E Occupancy and Type IIB Construction.

Facts: 1. Sec. 3311.2, exception, IFC, states that; approved temporary means of egress systems
and facilities may be provided during construction.  

2. Exit lighting and signage will be adjusted as necessary to accommodate the planned
modifications to the egress system.

3. Fire drills will be conducted to familiarize students and faculty of the revised egress
routes as indicated.
