Facts: 1. A 90 minute fire damper assembly will installed at the floor level where all ductwork  penetrates the floor assembly.
2. The building is fully sprinklered.
3. The design complies with Section 5.3.2 of NFPA 90A-2010 Standard for Installation of HVAC  Systems, as required by ISDH and CMS.

Facts: This installation is a new installation routed through existing spaces. Due to the existing  structure and utilities, the construction of a shaft enclosure will be difficult and also add the  cost to construct shaft enclosures at a 1 story penetration when fire dampers are being  provided. This meets the requirements of the Life Safety Code as required by CMS.
