COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Federal Continuity Directive (FCD) 1 directs the Federal executive branch departments and agencies and offers guidance for non-federal governments in developing COOP Plans and Programs. COOP Plans facilitate the performance of essential functions during any situation which may disrupt normal operations. The goal of this workshop is to provide you with the tools and hands-on experience necessary to improve your departments¿ or agencies¿ Continuity of Operations (COOP) plans. This training includes a train-the-trainer module to equip planners to facilitate the course to others.

This training will provide Indiana government continuity staff the opportunity to review their continuity plan to ensure it includes all essential continuity information. This course is the first in a series of trainings and exercise within the Indiana Continuity Training and Exercise Program.
