1	IC 22-14-3-5	Operation without permit or special event endorsement; infraction Sec. 5. (a) This section applies to the following: (1) Each person who has control over the performance of an amusement or entertainment described in IC 22-12-1-23. (2) Each person who has control over a regulated place of entertainment. (b) A person described in subsection (a) commits a Class C infraction if: (1) a regulated place of amusement or entertainment is used for an amusement or entertainment described in IC 22-12-1-23; and (2) no regulated place of amusement or entertainment permit or special event endorsement issued under this chapter covers the conditions at the regulated place of amusement or entertainment that affect fire and explosion safety.	Permit expired in 2006.
2	Sec. 1008.1.9.3 2014 Edition IBC 675 IAC 13-2.6	Locks and latches shall be permitted to prevent operation of doors where any of the following exists: 1. Places of detention or restraint. 2. In buildings in occupancy Group A having an occupant load of 300 or less, Groups B, F, M and S, and in places of religious worship, the main exterior door or doors are permitted to be equipped with key-operated locking devices from the egress side provided: 2.1. The locking device is readily distinguishable as locked; 2.2. A readily visible durable sign is posted on the egress side on or adjacent to the door stating: THIS DOOR TO REMAIN UNLOCKED WHEN BUILDING IS OCCUPIED. The sign shall be in letters 1 inch (25 mm) high on a contrasting background; and 3. Where egress doors are used in pairs, approved automatic flush bolts shall be permitted to be used, provided that the door leaf having the automatic flush bolts has no doorknob or surface-mounted hardware. 4. Doors from individual dwelling or sleeping units of Group R occupancies having an occupant load of 10 or less are permitted to be equipped with a night latch, dead bolt or security chain, provided such devices are openable from the inside without the use of a key or tool. 5. Fire doors after the minimum elevated temperature has disabled the unlatching mechanism in accordance with listed fire door test procedures. 6. Licensed Health Care Facilities that comply with IC 22-11-17-2.5.
3	Sec. 904.6 2014 Edition IFC 675 IAC 22-2.5	Dry-chemical extinguishing systems shall be installed, maintained, periodically inspected and tested in accordance with NFPA 17 and their listing.	Extinguisher have not been inspected since 2011.
4	Sec. 1008.1.10 2014 Edition IFC 675 IAC 22-2.5	Doors serving a Group H occupancy and doors serving rooms or spaces with an occupant load of 50 or more in a Group A or E occupancy shall not be provided with a latch or lock unless it is panic hardware or fire exit hardware. Exception: A main exit of a Group A occupancy in compliance with Section 1008.1.9.3, Item 2. Electrical rooms with equipment rated 1,200 amperes or more and over 6 feet (1829 mm) wide that contain overcurrent devices, switching devices or control devices with exit or exit access doors shall be equipped with panic hardware or fire exit hardware. The doors shall swing in the direction of egress travel.	Panic hardware is required on both exterior EXIT doors in the Meeting Hall.
5	Sec. 604.5.2 2014 Edition IFC 675 IAC 22-2.5	For battery-powered emergency lighting, a power test of the emergency lighting equipment shall be completed annually. The power test shall operate the emergency lighting for a minimum of 90 minutes and shall remain sufficiently illuminated for the duration of the test.	Provide documentation that the Emergency and EXIT lights are operable and have been tested to the above requirement.
