Sec. 901.4 2008 Edition IFC 675 IAC 22-2.4
Fire protection systems shall be maintained in accordance with the original installation standards for that system. Alterations to fire protection systems shall be done in accordance with the applicable rules of the commission.
The sprinkler heads in riser #2 area are not within the required distance of the ceiling or roof deck. (the ceiling panels and grid have been removed, but the sprinklers were never updated to the new configuration.) Parts of the sprinkler system have been removed from this area also. A wall collapse in the past pulled the sprinkler system down, and it was never repaired.
