Sec. 1007.2.5 IBC 1998 edn. 675 IAC 13-2.5 
Exit and exit-access doors serving Group A Occupancies shall not be provided with a latch or lock unless it is panic hardware. EXCEPTIONS: 1. In Group A, Division 3 Occupancies and in all churches, panic hardware may be omitted from the main exit where the main exit consists of a single door or pair of doors. A key-locking device may be used in place of the panic hardware, provided there is a readily visible durable sign adjacent to the doorway stating, "THIS DOOR MUST REMAIN UNLOCKED DURING BUSINESS HOURS." The sign shall be in letters not less than 1 inch (25 mm) high on a contrasting background. When unlocked, the single door or both leaves of a pair of doors must be free to swing without operation of any latching device. Manually operated edge-or surface-mounted flush bolts and surface bolts or any other type of device that may be used to close or restrain the door other than by operation of the locking device shall not be used. 2. Panic hardware may be waived on gates surrounding stadiums where such gates are under constant immediate supervision while the public is present, and further provided that safe dispersal areas based on 3 square feet (0.28 m2) per occupant are located between the sta­dium and the fence. Such required safe dispersal areas shall not be located less than 50 feet (15 240 mm) from the stadium. Gates may be of the horizontal sliding or swinging type and may exceed the 4-foot (1219 mm) maximum leaf width limitation.  
All front exit doors shall not have any type locking devices unless it is panic hardware.

Sec 303.1.2 1998 edn IBC 675 IAC 13-2.3 
For occupancy separations, see Table 3-B  
Table 3-B requires a 1-hr separation between an "A-2.1" and an "M" and an "S-1". The wall that is currently there does not meet the requirements of 1-hr construction. Repair as needed.

Sec. 1006.3 2008 Edition IFC 675 IAC 22-2.4  
The power supply for means of egress illumination shall normally be provided by the premises' electrical supply. In the event of power supply failure, an emergency electrical system shall automatically illuminate the following areas: 1. Aisles and unenclosed egress stairways in rooms and spaces that require two or more means of egress. 2. Corridors, exit enclosures and exit passageways in buildings required to have two or more exits. 3. Exterior egress components at other than the level of exit discharge until exit discharge is accomplished for buildings required to have two or more exits. 4. Interior exit discharge elements, as permitted in Section 1024.1, in buildings required to have two or more exits. 5. Exterior landings, as required by Section 1008.1.5, for exit discharge doorways in buildings required to have two or more exits. The emergency power system shall provide power for a duration of not less than 90 minutes and shall consist of storage batteries, unit equipment or an on-site generator. The installation of the emergency power system shall be in accordance with Section 2702.  
Provide documentation of test, and if any lights failed that repairs have been made.

Sec. 907.20.2 2008 Edition IFC 675 IAC 22-2.4  
Testing shall be performed in accordance with the schedules in Chapter 10 of NFPA 72. Exception: Devices or equipment that are inaccessible for safety considerations shall be tested during scheduled shutdowns where approved by the fire code official, but not less than every 18 months.  
1. Testing reports provided show that there has not been an intiation of duct smoke detectors, only visual inspection. Devices shall be intiated at each inspection to ensure they are working. 2. No documentation of the smoke detector sensitivity test. Sensitivity shall be completed every 2 years, and records provided at inspection time. These records shall contain all code required information to be acceptiable.
