Sec. 605.1 2008 Edition IFC 675 IAC 22-2.4 
Identified electrical hazards shall be abated. Identified hazardous electrical conditions in permanent wiring shall be brought to the attention of the code official responsible for enforcement of the ICC Electrical Code. Electrical wiring, devices, appliances and other equipment that is modified or damaged and constitutes an electrical shock or fire hazard shall not be used. 
One outlet cover is missing in the main dining room and one outlet cover is broken also in the main dining room both are exposing wiring and present an electrical hazard.

Sec. 605.4.2 2008 Edition IFC 675 IAC 22-2.4 
Relocatable power taps shall be directly connected to a permanently installed receptacle. 
Relocatable power taps were found in the back room piggy back connected together. Individual power taps shall be connected directly to a permanently installed receptacle not connected to each other in a piggy back installation.

Sec. 1006.3 2008 Edition IFC 675 IAC 22-2.4  
The power supply for means of egress illumination shall normally be provided by the premises' electrical supply. In the event of power supply failure, an emergency electrical system shall automatically illuminate the following areas: 1. Aisles and unenclosed egress stairways in rooms and spaces that require two or more means of egress. 2. Corridors, exit enclosures and exit passageways in buildings required to have two or more exits. 3. Exterior egress components at other than the level of exit discharge until exit discharge is accomplished for buildings required to have two or more exits. 4. Interior exit discharge elements, as permitted in Section 1024.1, in buildings required to have two or more exits. 5. Exterior landings, as required by Section 1008.1.5, for exit discharge doorways in buildings required to have two or more exits. The emergency power system shall provide power for a duration of not less than 90 minutes and shall consist of storage batteries, unit equipment or an on-site generator. The installation of the emergency power system shall be in accordance with Section 2702.  
Emergency EGRESS lighting shall be powered by the premises' electrical system under normal operation. It shall also be powered by an emergency electrical system (battery back-up). Lights located in the fish room and one in the back room would not operate on the emergency battery back-up system.

Sec. 1011.5.3 2008 Edition IFC 675 IAC 22-2.4  
Exit signs shall be illuminated at all times. To ensure continued illumination for a duration of not less than 90 minutes in case of primary power loss, the sign illumination means shall be connected to an emergency power system provided from storage batteries, unit equipment or an on-site generator. The installation of the emergency power system shall be in accordance with Section 2702. Exception: Approved exit sign illumination means that provide continuous illumination independent of external power sources for a duration of not less than 90 minutes, in case of primary power loss, are not required to be connected to an emergency electrical system. 
Two EXIT signs located in the fish room are inoperable from the emergency battery back-up system. One EXIT sign located in the back room would not operate on the emergency battery back-up system.
