Sec.901.6 2008 IFC. Inspection, testing and maintenance. Fire detection, alarm and extinguishing systems shall be maintained in an operative condition at all times, and shall be replaced or repaired where defective. Non required fire protection systems and equipment shall be inspected, tested and maintained or removed.  
The owner shall provide documentation that the Fire Sprinkler system has been tested for an Annual Inspection.

2008 Edition IFC 675 IAC 22-2.4 
Sec.1006.3 2008 IFC. Illumination emergency power. The power supply for means of egress illumination shall normally be provided by the premises¿ electrical supply. In the event of power supply failure, an emergency electrical system shall automatically illuminate the following areas: 1. Aisles and unenclosed egress stairways in rooms and spaces that require two or more means of egress. 2. Corridors, exit enclosures and exit passageways in buildings required to have two or more exits. 3. Exterior egress components at other than the level of exit discharge until exit discharge is accomplished for buildings required to have two or more exits. 4. Interior exit discharge elements, as permitted in Section 1024.1, in buildings required to have two or more exits. 5. Exterior landings, as required by Section 1008.1.5, for exit discharge doorways in buildings required to have two or more exits. The emergency power system shall provide power for a duration of not less than 90 minutes and shall consist of storage batteries, unit equipment or an on-site generator. The installation of the emergency power system shall be in accordance with Section 2702.  
The owner shall provide documentation showing that the 90 minute duration test has been completed for all Emergency lights and exit light signs.

2008 Edition IFC 675 IAC 22-2.4 
Sec.1003.6 2008 IFC. Means of egress continuity. The path of egress travel along a means of egress shall not be interrupted by any building element other than a means of egress component as specified in this chapter. Obstructions shall not be placed in the required width of a means of egress except projections permitted by this chapter. The required capacity of a means of egress system shall not be diminished along the path of egress travel.  
1. Exit doors located on the west side of the facility 1st floor area has items blocking the exit doors and the means of egress, all of the items shall be moved so as not to block the exit way and the means of egress to the public way. 2. The exit door located at the south exit stairway vestibule has items blocking the exit, the stairway exit, the exit discharge, and the means of egress to the public way, all items shall be removed.

2008 Edition IFC 675 IAC 22-2.4 
Sec.605.3 2008 IFC. Working space and clearance. A working space of not less than 30 inches (762 mm) in width, 36 inches (914 mm) in depth and 78 inches (1981 mm) in height shall be provided in front of electrical service equipment. Where the electrical service equipment is wider than 30 inches (762 mm), the working space shall not be less than the width of the equipment. No storage of any materials shall be located within the designated working space.  
The storage located in the electrical room shall be removed so as to meet the working space and clearance requirements.

Sec.605.5 2008 IFC. Extension cords. Extension cords and flexible cords shall not be a substitute for permanent wiring. Extension cords and flexible cords shall not be affixed to structures, extended through walls, ceilings or floors, or under doors or floor coverings, nor shall such cords be subject to environmental damage or physical impact. Extension cords shall be used only with portable appliances.  
The owner shall remove all of the extension cords located throughout the facility and they shall not be used as permanent wiring.

2008 Edition IFC 675 IAC 22-2.4 
Sec.605.6 2008 IFC. Unapproved conditions. Open junction boxes and open-wiring splices shall be prohibited. Approved covers shall be provided for all switch and electrical outlet boxes  
1.The open junction box located in the ceiling electrical room shall have a cover plate installed. 2.All of the open spaces in the electrical panels shall have cover fill-ins installed.
