Sec. 604.3 2008 Edition IFC 675 IAC 22-2.4  
Emergency and standby power systems shall be maintained in accordance with the rules of the commission such that the system is capable of supplying service within the time specified for the type and duration required. 
The emergency light in the north hall by the offices, and the emergency light over the main entrance do not work.

Sec. 1011.4 2008 Edition IFC 675 IAC 22-2.4  
Internally illuminated exit signs shall be listed and labeled and shall be installed in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and Section 2702. Exit signs shall be illuminated at all times. 
The exit sign in the kitchen over the west door is not illuminated.

Sec. 605.5.3 2008 Edition IFC 675 IAC 22-2.4 
Extension cords shall be maintained in good condition without splices, deterioration or damage. 
The brown extension cord on the east wall in the secretary's office is spliced and may not be used.

Sec. 605.4 2008 Edition IFC 675 IAC 22-2.4 
Multiplug adapters, such as cube adapters, unfused plug strips or any other device not complying with the ICC Electrical Code shall be prohibited. 
The secretary's office has a multi-plug adapter in the east wall that does not comply with the electric code. (No reset or surge protection)

Sec. 605.5 2008 Edition IFC 675 IAC 22-2.4 
Extension cords and flexible cords shall not be a substitute for permanent wiring. Extension cords and flexible cords shall not be affixed to structures, extended through walls, ceilings or floors, or under doors or floor coverings, nor shall such cords be subject to environmental damage or physical impact. Extension cords shall be used only with portable appliances. 
The brown extension cord in the secretary's office is being used for permanent power supply to the television mounted on the wall. (Not a portable appliance)

Sec. 605.1 2008 Edition IFC 675 IAC 22-2.4 
Identified electrical hazards shall be abated. Identified hazardous electrical conditions in permanent wiring shall be brought to the attention of the code official responsible for enforcement of the ICC Electrical Code. Electrical wiring, devices, appliances and other equipment that is modified or damaged and constitutes an electrical shock or fire hazard shall not be used. 
The outlet under the tv in the southwest corner of the main room has cords duct taped to the outlet to keep them in place. The outlet needs to be checked and replaced if necessary to hold the cords caps in place.
